Introduction

An excellent luxury resort in Mauritius, situated on a beautiful beach on the northwest coast of Mauritius at Turtle Bay, Balaclava, approx. one hour from the airport, The Grand Mauritian Resort & Spa brings a new level of exclusivity to the island. The hotel would suit those looking for a luxury holiday in Mauritius. Spread over 10 hectares, the resort is bordered by the reef and ocean nature park on one side and lush sugarcane fields on the other. Two natural basalt-rock pools in the sea provide the perfect safe areas for bathing for the family, whilst the rest of the shore is a mixture of sandy beach and shady retreats under a mixture of palm and casuarina trees. The architecture has a laid-back tropical feeling that evokes memories of days gone by, but still maintains a sophisticated quality in keeping with the standards of a 5-star luxury resort. The Grand Mauritian Resort & Spa is located just 15km from the island’s hub, Grand Bay, known for its shopping, restaurants, bars and nightlife.
